Šiuolaikinių lengvųjų granatsvaidžių pavyzdžiai: JAV 40 mm M79, 66 mm M72, 90 mm M67; Rusijos 40 mm RPG-7, 58,3 mm RPG-16; Vokietijos 60 mm Pzf3; Švedijos 84 mm „Carl Gustaf“ M2 ir M3; Izraelio 82 mm B300. Lietuvos kariuomenė turi Švedijos 84 mm lengvuosius granatsvaidžius „Carl Gustaf“, Rusijos 40 mm rankinius granatsvaidžius RPG-2 ir RPG-7V.
